Climate and Sport EcoChallenge Prizes

Your Climate and Sport Initiative EcoChallenge points can add up to fun prizes! CSI will award grand prizes to the teams and individuals with the most points at the end of the EcoChallenge on November 30, 2021.

If you're a Team Captain, consider offering incentives for your team too. Baked goods, gift certificates to nearby cafes, and company-wide recognition are other ways to reward your teammates! Winning feels great but even still you’re doing something amazing!

Details about Climate and Sport EcoChallenge Prizes:
We realize this EcoChallenge has some excellent prizes and ultimately, we all want to help the planet, but we do want to see honesty within the completion of challenges. If there is cause for concern when determining an individual’s point totals, the ultimate decision of the winner is left up to the discretion of Climate and Sport Initiative. Canadian Residents only, excludes residents of Quebec.

If a winner is selected and contacted, the winner has 48 hours to respond and accept the prize. If they do not respond in the allotted amount of time, the prize will then go to the 2nd place entrant while the 1st place entrant will still be the *winner* of the Climate and Sport Initiative EcoChallenge. Eligibility for individual prize is determined by being a “team” of one individual or in the community team

If the winner of the individual team grand prize is unavailable on the dates of travel, the winner will need to forfeit their prize and provide it to another individual. They will not be compensated the monetary value of the trip.

If the winners of the top team grand prize are not in need of/want hockey equipment, they can choose to give it to another team that is. This team will still be recognized as the winner of the Climate and Sport Initiative EcoChallenge and celebrated for their philanthropic choice.
